Marvel Select Movie Avengers Hulk

Made by Diamond Select
for Marvel Select line Avengers Movie
Released in 2012

Probably the Most accurate figure for The Hulk (compared to the puny hasbro version). Sculpt and details is tremendous! almost resembling Ruffalo-hulk likeness from the hair to feet, you'll love this movie rendition of the Green-eyed monster.

Details is exceptional with close to accurate sculpt. having smaller and believable biceps and triceps as per movie's concern. (and not the comic oversized everything-hulk)

The hands is locked in a closed-fist position, that you wouldn't mind since it was well done and can hold decent action poses.

The articulation is fair enough to pass as a posable figure, one bad placing of articulation is with the hips though. i cant spread it, since im afraid it might break anytime i try to force it. though in a simple standing position, still he looks fearsome compared to other figure of him.

Modern Armor Iron Man (Yellow and Red Torso)

Released in 2005 as part of the Marvel Legends Series 8

This figure has 2 variations, one with a red colored torso and the other with yellow. (I'll be posting both in this 1 thread to save time and blog-space) Aside from the different paints used in the torso area, there is really nothing different with these two.

Accessories include a cool base (as with any other ML from toybiz). Base has a concept of an army of ultron being kicked in the ass by Iron Man. The base feels like having a new and seperate action figure. Toybiz really took time sculpting battle damaged Ultrons and it really turned out great!

He also comes with a removable face mask that reveals a mustache-Tony Stark.

As  iv'e said, aside from the different torso paint scheme, there is really nothing special with the 2 being compared. the face, paint and the body sculpt are all the same.

The figure has multiple points of articulation, that gives cool poses. though the plastic used by toybiz is somehow soft and paints becomes sticky as time goes.

Somehow taller compared with the Face Off Iron Man, probably because he need be since he's a modern issue armor.
The sculpt is fantastic! brings out the roboty-like Iron Man. tremendous details, like this one in the neck, with wires, back fin and etc.

Captain America (1st Avenger) Marvel Select

Made By Diamond Select
From The Movie Captain America The First Avenger
Part of The Marvel Select Series
Released in 2011

The figure as expected with DS is highly detailed but not as articulated as it's Hasbro counterpart. it's joints are really crunchy and the paints used are somehow sticky and easy to chip off, that's why i limited it's poses while taking pictures (same treatment as to any Marvel Select Figures i have).

He comes with his trademark Shield in a glossy metallic finish, somehow like a modern-era cap am shield and in addition with that even the back of the shield is well detailed not with a snap on shield to wrist but a leather detailed handle that fits perfectly in the hand,

A basic pistol that fits perfectly well on his side holster, and a nicely detailed base of the Cosmic Cube control area. That Cosmic Cube base really got me attracted with this figure at first since watching the movie and seeing this as a toy captures the resemblance from the movie.

Side by side with MS Movie Hulk:

This figure unlike the recently released Avengers Movie Hulk figure, doesn't in any way captures the likeness of Chris Evans. somehow DS got lazy sculpting the head. though in fairness to them, the body . costume, cosmic cube base and other points of interest in the toy are really very well detailed.

I prefer this Diamond Select figure over Hasbro's ROML and 6 inch figures, specially with the price range, (Hasbro's much pricier compared to DS). Over all this figure felt like owning an ML Toybiz era-toy, a well sculpted and nicely detailed figure with base. surely you cant go wrong with Marvel Selects a better buy compared to the smaller Hasbro version with no base.

“Macho Man” Randy Savage

Released by Mattel in 2011

Came from the "WWE All Stars 2 pack with John Morrison"

Got this figure loose and again as a birthday gift,

I'm thankful to my good friend Leo for this late but a greatly appreciated birthday gift.

The Figure has a typical elite body with stomach articulation. ball jointed shoulders, and a greatly improved stealth articulation in the hips. with detailed (meaning painted) hands support.

The "Macho Man" here sports a rather unique and unfamiliar (for me that is) costume. A green trunks with stars print and reads "Macho Man" at the back, yellow boots and blue knee support.

The authentic white "Macho Man" trademark shades for this figure i got separately from a good deed made by my friend.

This costume i think is a video game-released exclusive only.

Even with that still, the figure captures The "Randy Savage" -bearded look.

Now my wrestling collection is starting to catch up (thanks to the influence of Arnold and Leo), there is no turning back now. Still on a controlled collecting, i'd probably just stay with Wrestling icons and classic than going all the way.
