Tarantula

From Spider-Man Line
Released by Hasbro in 2008

One of the rare figure from this wave that didn't suck. new character mold by Hasbro for this line, and to think this series almost went down the drain. (which eventually did after characters such as the Puny Juggy and the never ending variants of spider-man).

Tarantula sports a decent amount of ML-like articulation, that gives a decent action poses. definitely a perfect fit with ML.

Comes with 2 useful and not to mention opening wooden-like crates. great for storing accessories, or even adding up in a diorama.

Daken (Unmasked)

from The Return of Marvel Legends 2012
Arnim Zola Build A Figure wave

Daken in his cool mohawk-haircut. (unmasked variant)

You gotta be careful with his arm tattoo, seems like it could go off and fade anytime during play-ware or even just posing it. when that tattoo distinguishes him from brown wolvie to daken.

I prefer the Unmasked version since with the masked version, you wouldn't see any difference from the brown-wolvie except the claws.

Has the improved articulation from Hasbro for decent action poses, and with the sculpt almost similar to Toybiz' but with a fantastic head sculpt, not to mention a comic-loyal paint.

Hasbro is really improving in terms of the sculpt and details. even the hanging-mask was nicely done.

I just don't get why they have to separately sculpt the belt? it just irritatingly doesn't fit in its place.

Nothing differently-special with the masked version except the head.

"Wolvie: I am your father. Daken: Nooooooooooooo!"

Ghost Rider: Mini-Bust

From Bowen Designs
Marvel Mini-Bust series
Released in 2001

This is a limited edition numbered series. i got number 275 (though the box states #1588, wrong box!!!) out of 6000 produced.

Box:

The Team:

Nicely detailed, painted and sculpted, as expected for a bust figure, specially with Bowen designs.
Have to be careful with those pointy thingies, (flames in hair and spikes). as it will definitely have a tendency to break easily if not properly handled.
The Johnny Blaze version.

Doom Copter

From Marvel Super Heroes Secret Wars series
Released by Mattel

Mine's perfectly incomplete.

and I'm pretty sure this Marvel Super Heroes series 1 Doctor Doom is not for this vehicle. Doom doesn't fit the pilot sit because of his man-skirt, so i just put Spidey there.

Still a tad fit even for Spidey.

With opening back compartment.

Zombie Spider-Man

Manufactured by Diamond Select
for Marvel Select series
Released in 2007

One of my favorite Marvel Select series. everything about this wave is just so cool.

This undead zombie superhero, comes with a removable leg, and a quarter-eaten Silver Surfer-base.

I just love the zombie artwork for this line.
